Pet of the Week- Korbin

PHOENIX - Korbin was found abandoned, dehydrated, exhausted and wounded in an alley. EAMTs rescued the Australian Cattle dog mix and brought him to AHS' Second Chance Animal Hospital™.

The deep and infected wound on his hip was cleaned and treated by medical staff but because of the severity of his injury, he may always have a slight limp.

However, nothing seems to slow Korbin down when he's set free in a spacious yard and the 1-year-old gallops around and plays with great enthusiasm.

Shelter volunteers have taught this clever canine a few of the basic tricks and Korbin will politely sit, even when small kids ask him to do so.

Relaxed, affectionate and sweet when out of his kennel, Korbin enjoys being amongst dog lovers and prefers to be the center of attention.

Since April 23, Korbin has been patiently waiting for someone to fall in love with him and give him the second chance that he truly deserves in life.

Korbin is available NOW at the Campus for Compassion located at 1521 West Dobbins Rd in Phoenix. His adoption fee is only $35 and includes his neuter surgery and vaccines. For more information call 602-997-7585 x 1045 and ask for animal ID number A393293.
