Pet of the week: Elder statesman Bruiser looking for a family to cuddle with

PHOENIX - There was a time when Bruiser was a feisty little spitfire but now this sweet, 7-year-old Chihuahua has a little gray in his muzzle and has mellowed out.

Easygoing and enduring, he loves to relax on the porch with the family nearby or cuddle with you on the couch while you watch your favorite show.

With age comes wisdom and Bruiser is a well-mannered pooch.

Also with age comes a certain degree of being set in his ways. As such, it's best that Bruiser has the house to himself to live out his Golden Years as the only dog in the home.

In exchange for a loving home, he will be your friend, your partner and your loyal companion for the years to come.

Bruiser is available NOW at the Arizona Humane Society's Campus for Compassion located at 1521 West Dobbins Road in Phoenix. His adoption fee is $35 and includes his neuter surgery and vaccines. For more information call 602-997-7585x 1045 and ask for animal ID number A464742.
