Pet of the week: Dutch needs a new home

Dutch has been through a lot and needs a loving home.

Arizona Humane Society officials say he was in bad shape when he was rescued off the streets by EAMTs.

The 11-pound Chihuahua was covered with wounds and had fractured his back leg so bad that it would have to later be amputated.

Despite the fact that he's missing a leg, Dutch still manages to get around just fine and he can walk, run, skip and even SWIM!

Dutch is housetrained, leash trained and he is quite agile when he plays his favorite game… fetch. He loves belly rubs, other dogs, kids of all ages and will ignore the housecat.

Dutch is available NOW but he will remain in his foster home until he is adopted. His adoption fee is $110 and includes his amputation and neuter surgery as well as his vaccines.
