PHOENIX - The Arizona Humane Society is hosting a free spay and neuter day on a first-come, first-served basis on Thursday.
The AHS's Circle of Friends is a special group of donors whose contributions of $1,000 or more go specifically toward low- and no-cost spay and neuter efforts in the shelter and the community, according to a news release.
Check-in for Thursday's clinic begins at 6:30 a.m. and space is limited, so you'll want to arrive early.
The free spay and neuter day will be held at the AHS Sunnyslope Public Clinic at 1311 W. Hatcher Road in north Phoenix.
Pre-surgery instructions are available on the Arizona Humane Society website .
