'The Hangover Part III,' 'Fast & Furious 6' hit movie theaters this weekend

PHOENIX - While 30 percent of Arizonans might be traveling this weekend, everyone who's sticking around might want something to do this weekend.

How about a movie?

Three major releases hit theaters this weekend: Vin Diesel is back in "Fast & Furious 6," Amanda Seyfried is shrunk and explores a garden-sized kingdom in "Epic" and Bradley Cooper and crew return for "The Hangover Part III."

"Fast and Furious 6" finds the gang tired of living life on the run since the events of "Fast Five." Along comes Agent Luke Hobbs (Dwayne Johnson), who offers them a pardon if they help catch another group of notorious drivers. They jump at the chance, but Dom and friends are in for quite the chase.

On a more family-friendly note, "Epic" follows the adventures of M.K. (Amanda Seyfried) as she's shrunk by a magical plant bulb and discovers the world of the Leaf Men and their garden kingdom. She joins Nod (Josh Hutcherson) as they try to save the realm from the evil Mandrake (Christoph Waltz), who's set on destroying the Leaf Men's home for good.

"The Hangover Part III" doesn't start with a bachelor party or a wedding—it starts with a funeral. Alan (Zach Galifianakis) loses his father, and his friends plan to get his life back by checking him into rehab. On the way, Doug (Justin Bartha) is kidnapped and the rest of the crew is forced to hunt down Chow (Ken Jeong) in Tijuana and get him to pay a $21 million debt.
