Report: 'Full House' revival in the works

They were one of television’s favorite families for eight years starting in the ‘80s and they’re rumored to be making a comeback.

A “Full House” revival is reportedly in the works, according to E! News .

Expected to make a comeback in some capacity in the new series are John Stamos, Candace Cameron Bure, Jodie Sweetin, Bob Saget and Dave Coulier.

So far Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen are absent from the list of cast members attached to the revival.

Also absent is Lori Loughlin who E! News says told them she didn’t think a “Full House” comeback would be a good idea.

The original executive producer and creator are also involved in the new version.

The show, which aired from 1987 to 1995 is still pulling in good ratings in repeats on Nick at Nite. Warner Bros. is interested in renewing the show in a new light, according to the report.

Would you watch a revitalized “Full House” if the original cast returned?
