PHOENIX - A negative light has been shed on the Arizona woman vying for Ben Flajnik's heart on The Bachelor, but is Courtney Robertson really a mean girl?
Us Weekly and Ellen Degeneres have both cast doubt on the brunette beauty, who was raised in Scottsdale.
The magazine asks if the 28-year-old is the "Meanest Contestant Ever?" in its February 6th issue.
Robertson's quotes from the show are scattered on a photo of her. They include, "I don't have to worry about these other girls here…. I'm better than them."
Flajnik, who went to high school and college in Arizona, was grilled by Ellen Degeneres on her talk show.
Ellen said it was "not right" for Flajnik to give Robertson a rose on the last episode.
"She may be a lovely person and you're probably engaged to her, but the thing is that the way it was edited she came off not nice," said the host. "I could be wrong ‘cause it's not fair to judge someone like that. She was just playing you, saying all the things you wanted to hear."

Is Robertson the villain she appears to be?
Locals who grew up with the Arcadia High School grad say it all might be how the show edited her.
They also believe the show took Robertson's comments out of context.
What do you think? Is Robertson wrong for Flajnik? Or do you think the show just portrays her in a negative way?
