The circus is back in town!

The Mesa Arts Center will be kicking off it s 2014-2015 season with various circus-themed performances, galleries and exhibitions.

Ten in One: A Cirque-ish Event will take place Friday, September 12 from 6 - 10 p.m. at the Mesa Arts Center.

The festival will feature aerial hoop and tight wire performances, contortionists, jugglers and fire eaters, just to name a few, according to Casey Blake, spokesman for the Mesa Arts Center.

"They endeavor to capture the excitement of the season ahead, and to remind people of the many opportunities to experience the arts. The themes often reflect the exhibitions opening in the Mesa Contemporary Arts Museum, which in this case is the history and spectacle of circus," Blake said in an emailed release.

Guests will also be able to enjoy glass-blowing, fair food and music throughout the Mesa Contemporary Arts Museum.
