Zoe's Kitchen opens sixth restaurant in Phoenix, plans two more in Chandler and Glendale

Zoe's Kitchen has opened its sixth restaurant in Phoenix.

The fast-casual Mediterranean restaurant opened its newest location Thursday in Arcadia near 44th Street and Indian School Road.

A restaurant spokesperson told ABC15 that the Arcadia location is featuring some of the restaurant's new menu items that won't be rolled out to the other locations until the 27th of June.

The items include a new appetizer, new sandwiches and bowls, and four additional sauces. You can view the new items below.

Zoe's other locations can be found in Chandler, Phoenix and Scottsdale. The chain plans to open two more eateries in Chandler and Glendale over the summer, a spokesperson said.

NEW MENU ITEMS:

Mediterranean Lamb Kafta – three lamb and beef meatballs served over house-made tzatziki and cucumbers, topped with Moroccan harissa and fresh dill.  
 
Harissa Salmon Pita – pita topped with harissa-marinated salmon, house-made tzatziki, Moroccan harissa, Mediterranean relish, cabbage, feat and fresh dill.
 
Rustic Lamb Pita – pita topped with lamb and beef meatballs, house-made tzatziki, Italian salsa verde, Mediterranean relish, cabbage, feta and fresh dill. 
 
Greek Chicken Pita – Pita topped with grilled chicken, lettuce, tomatoes, house-made tzatziki, caramelized onions and feta. 
 
Guests can build their own bowl by choosing their base, protein and new sauce. 
 
Cauliflower Rice Bowl – chilled cauliflower rice with house-made tzatziki Israeli skhug, feta, cucumbers, fresh dill. 
 
Power Grain Bowl – lentils, quinoa, farro and rice with house-made tzatziki, Moroccan harissa, Mediterranean relish, cucumbers and fresh dill. 
 
Mediterranean Salad Trio Bowl – trio of pesto farro, zesty quinoa and orzo “tabouli” salads with house-made tzatziki, Italian salsa verde, feta, cucumbers, fresh dill. 
 
Sauces: Guests can pair their favorite kabob with one of our new bold, fresh Mediterranean sauces. 
 
Greek Tzatziki – creamy yogurt sauce with onions, cucumbers, garlic, mint and dill. Vegetarian and Gluten-free.  Pairs well with Shrimp Kabobs.
 
Italian Salsa Verde – fresh herb sauce highlighting Calabrain peppers, garlic, extra-virgin olive oil and red wine vinegar. Vegan and Gluten-Free.  Pairs well with Steak Kabobs and Veggie Kabobs
 
Israeli Skhug – bright, citrusy sauce featuring spicy green peppers, cilantro, lemon, extra-virgin olive oil and Mediterranean spices.  Vegan and Gluten-Free.  Pairs well with Chicken Kabobs.
 
Moroccan Harrissa –  zesty red pepper sauce with subtle notes of sweet tomato, and Mediterranean spices. Vegan and Gluten-Free.  Pairs well with Salmon Kabobs.
