Update (3/28/17): Doughbird officially opened its doors near 44th Street and Indian School Road on Tuesday, March 28, 2017.
Valley restaurateur Sam Fox is ready to open the newest concept in his restaurant empire.
Doughbird Pizza and Rotisserie focuses on house-made pizzas and rotisserie, and will open to the public on March 28, his team at Fox Restaurant Concepts confirmed to ABC15.
The eatery is located at the corner of 44th Street and Indian School.

If you're counting, that is a touch more than a month away.
We're also getting our first look at the interior of the restaurant and, most importantly, the dishes we can expect to devour.
Fox Restaurant Concepts
In September, Fox said Doughbird would focus on house-made pizzas and rotisserie chicken. Since then, the menu has expanded a bit to include a variety of rotisserie meats, sides and sauces.
Here are a few menu items we learned about:
- Crispy Pastrami Pizza - aged gruyere, pickled mustard seed, purple kale, rye
- Spiral Ham Pizza - shishito pepper, spiced pineapple, Thai basil, smoked mozzarella
- Rotisserie Rocky Free Range Chicken
- Rotisserie Creekstone Farms Prime Rib
- Barbecue Pulled Chicken
- Heirloom Tomato and Quinoa Salad
Side dishes include roasted potatoes and cauliflower mash. Dessert includes butterscotch cream cake, served warm, and "The Elvis", a peanut-butter-and-chocolate parfait with bananas, whipped cream and bacon.
Like Fox's other restaurants, it will have a full-service bar with wine, beer and specialty cocktails.
The inside of Doughbird features high ceilings and wood trusses with large-paned windows. The outside features white-painted brick and an outdoor patio.
Fox Restaurant Concepts
Doughbird will be open for lunch and dinner. The exact hours have not been released just yet.
If you're in need of a job, Doughbird is looking to hire 120 people to work in the dining room, kitchen and behind the bar.
A job fair will be held at Doughbird from Feb. 27 to March 4, and March 6 to 11, from 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. Those unable to attend can apply online. The address is 4385 E. Indian School Road, Phoenix AZ 85018.
