Phoenix CitySkate ice rink open through January 14

PHOENIX - Lace up the skates, grab the scarf, the hot chocolate and head to downtown Phoenix for the annual CitySkate .

The ice rink at CityScape officially opened for business on Saturday

The ice rink celebrated its fourth season opening at 3 p.m. Skaters enjoyed crafts, live music and a special visit from Santa Claus.

Mayor Greg Stanton was also downtown to help light the city's holiday tree.

The skating rink is open until January 14, 2014. Admission is $12 for kids and adults, $6 for military personnel, $10 for seniors and $6 for kids three & under. Students (with ID) can skate for $10.
