Free Final Four concerts: Free concerts to take place during Final Four weekend

While the basketball teams are coming to Phoenix to compete for the title, some big names are coming to Valley to perform at the March Madness Music Festival!

The free, three-day music festival will take place March 31 - April 2 at Margaret T. Hance Park in Phoenix, 67 W. Culver Street, Phoenix AZ 85003.

The nightly shows are free and open to the public. Make sure to get there early because it's first come, first served.

This year's headliners include Keith Urban, The Chainsmokers and Aerosmith.

March 31 - AT&T Block Party
Doors open at 4 p.m. Concerts end at 10 p.m.

April 1 - Coca-Cola Music
Doors open at 2 p.m. Concerts end at 10:30 p.m.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT SECURITY

Once you get into the park and before you get access to the music festival, you will have to go through a metal detector.

The festival will follow the "clear bag policy" meaning clear bags (max size: 12" x 5" x 12") or small purses and clutches (max size: 5.5" x 8.5") will be allowed in.

Chairs, umbrellas, seat cushions, chewing tobacco or e-cigarettes, selfie-sticks, hover boards, drones and laser pointers will NOT be allowed in. View full list, here.

PARKING AND HOW TO GET THERE

You should expect that a lot of people will make their way to Margaret T. Hance Park. That means parking lots and garages will fill up quickly. What are your options?

FREE TROLLEY: There will be a free trolley to ferry people from Fan Fest to the music festival. The trolley will pick people up at the Phoenix Convention Center at Second Street and Adams. It will drop passengers off at 1st Street and Roosevelt. So, you will have a short walk to Hance Park.

LIGHT RAIL: The nearest light rail platform is Central Avenue and Roosevelt Street. An all-day ticket is $4. You could take the train from Fan Fest in downtown or park outside of downtown at Park-and-Ride lots and take the train in

FREE BIKE PARKING: There will be free bike parking and storage at Hance Park. The storage facility will be at Portland and First Street. It will open each day one hour before the festival opens and will close one hour after the festival ends.

PARKING STRUCTURE: If you decide to drive down to Hance Park, you will have to find a nearby parking structure, lot or meter. Those will likely require fees. Details here.
