Riviera Broadcasting's radio stations will host the first annual Old Town Mexican Beer Fest this weekend. Atendees can enjoy 14 samples of Mexican beers, from the traditional to the obscure. A Petco Cinco de Mayo
Where: Avondale Petco
When: Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Avondale Petco will celebrate a "re-grand opening" with a party for the whole family, including those with four legs. Activities include bird feeder workshops, face painting, piñatas and treat tastings for canine family members. Local businesses COSTCO, Panda Express, Jimmy Johns and Starbucks will also pass out complimentary snacks.
Cinco de Mayo Phoenix Festival
Where: Van Buren between Central Avenue and Third Street in Phoenix
When: Saturday 2 p.m. to midnight and Sunday from noon to 10 p.m.
Cost: Adults $5; children under 12 free
The annual two-day block party will feature authentic Mexican food and drink, games and live entertainment from mariachi groups, dancers and traditional musicians.
Where: El Mirage City Plaza
When: Saturday from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Performances begin at 4:15 p.m. with performances from the Royalty Dance Squad and the Saguaro Skippers. Other performers include dance group Baile Folklorico Nueva Vida, Mariachi Corazon de Phoenix and the band Unstoppable. Face painting and balloon animals will be free for kids, and Mexican food, beer and wine round out the day's celebration.

Comedians Danny Serrano, Richard Galaviz Jr., Manny Llanez, Kevin Soto, Jorge Ruiz, Ernesto Ortiz and others will perform at the Arizona Event Center on Saturday.

The Chihuahua races and beauty pageant will headline Chandler's Cinco de Mayo celebration this year. The festival will also offer Latin and mariachi bands, authentic Mexican cuisine, art, a lowrider show and more.

Hard rock radio station KUPD is hosting a concert and Cinco de Mayo party in Mesa. Scheduled to perform is Stone Sour, Chevelle, Heaven's Basement, Powerman 5000 and more. VIP access includes five adult beverages, unlimited non-alcoholic drinks and special parking.
