The World Series trophy is making a historic visit to Wrigleyville West.

The Chicago Cubs are hosting a post-championship rally at their home turf -- Sloan Park -- in Mesa on Friday, Feb. 24.

Cubs manager Joe Maddon, Mesa Mayor John Giles and other Cubs players are scheduled to speak, according to a news release. There will also be a video tribute to the team.

The first 1,000 fans in line will also have the opportunity to take a picture with the World Series trophy!
