Singer Charlie Puth has canceled his upcoming concert at the Arizona State Fair due to illness.

He was scheduled to perform Friday evening at the Veteran's Memorial Coliseum.

The state fair broke the news Tuesday afternoon on their social media channels. They also included a statement reportedly from Puth's team:

"Due to his current illness, Charlie has been ordered by his physician to abstain from all performances for 7 days and will have to cancel his upcoming performance at the Arizona State Fair. Charlie expresses his deepest regrets and hopes to return to Arizona soon," the statement read.

REFUND INFORMATION:

The concerts are included with general fair admission, but guests could purchase reserved seating. Fair officials said that guests who purchased tickets online would be contacted by eTix to get their refund. Those who paid with cash are asked to go to the South Box Office during box office hours to get their refund.
