Amazon Prime members can now order lunch or dinner from several Valley restaurants and have it delivered within one hour.
It is the latest food-delivery service to launch in the Valley, competing with UberEats, Door Dash, Postmates and Yelp's Eat 24.
One difference with Amazon is that you must be a Prime member to use it ($99 a year or $10.99 a month, includes 2-day shipping), and your order has to be at least $20. However, there is no delivery free for its customers, which other services do have.
To order from Amazon, Prime customers can view restaurants and browse menus via the Amazon or Prime Now app, or online at www.amazon.com/restaurants.
