10 things to do this weekend in Arizona

If you are you looking to have some fun in Arizona this weekend, check out these events.
 
Love animals? Tempe Town Lake will be the scene of the ‘Walk to Save Animals' this Saturday. There is both a 2k and a 5k walk and a PetZone with merchandise for your pets. There will be drinks, food, more. The event is sponsored by the Arizona Animal Welfare League and the SPCA. All proceeds will go to Arizona's oldest and largest no-kill shelter. 
 
Or you can head to Wickenburg to enjoy a three day bluegrass festival. In addition to the many bands, there will be arts and crafts, a pancake breakfast and a special kids zone. 
 
Got a sweet tooth? Well, some gourmet chocolate decadence awaits you at the Desert Botanical Garden. The Chiles & Chocolate Festival is a chance to sample zesty salsas and delicious chocolate. 
 
The Arizona Asian Festival is at Mesa Arts Center. What can you expect? Well, you can enjoy some delicious cuisine, a children's wonderland, a spirited poem contest, arts and crafts and a beer garden. And it won't cost you a thing. Free admission and parking on both days.
 
How about an old fashion chuck wagon cook-off? Teams from authentic 1880s chuck wagons will cook five courses: bread, beans, meat, potatoes and desserts. Also features live entertainment. Head to Chandler Tumbleweed Park.
 
And over 200,000 are expected at the Fountain Hills Arts Festival. This popular annual event will feature nearly 500 artists along with live music, food vendors and beer garden.
