NAPLES, FL - The daughter of ABC television host Barbara Walters has been arrested on suspicion of DUI.
TMZ.com reports that Jacqueline Danforth was arrested in Naples, Florida on Sunday.
Danforth, 44, was adopted as an infant by Walters, who chronicled her daughter's troubled childhood in her biography and television specials.
The New York Daily News reports that Danforth was so out of control during the traffic stop that she had to be "taken to the ground" so she wouldn't run into oncoming traffic.
Danforth's boyfriend was a passenger in the car and both were described as "extremely intoxicated."
Danforth reportedly took a breathalyzer test and blew a .218, more than twice the legal limit.
Danforth was released on $1,000 bond after being charged with a DUI, according to TMZ.
Walters, 83, recently announced she'll retire from TV journalism next summer.
