Get your cameras ready. A very subtle "penumbral" lunar eclipse will occur early Wednesday morning.
According to the Los Angeles Times , "unlike a total lunar eclipse, when the earth passes behind the dark center of the earth's shadow, a penumbral lunar eclipse occurs when the moon passes through the hazy outer edge of the earth's shadow, called the penumbra."
For those living on the West Coast, your best chance of seeing the eclipse will be at 4:15 a.m. PST (5:15 a.m. Arizona time) when the eclipse peaks.
