Supervision is the key to protecting lives, but there are other "layers of protection." Studies show 69% of drowning incidents occur when parental supervision fails and there are no other "backup layers" in use.
*Using the "fail safe" layers of protection does not guarantee against all drownings. However it does creates layers of protection. All 5 must fail before your child can drown.
