KINGMAN, AZ - Arizona Department of Transportation crews are resuming work on a highly traveled road between Phoenix and Las Vegas.
Motorists can expect delays of up to 15 minutes while crews pave a nine-mile stretch of U.S. 93 south of Wikieup.
Traffic will be restricted to one lane through the work zone.
The project had been shut down for the winter but will start up again next week.
Transportation officials say they eventually want to make U.S. 93 a four-lane divided highway throughout a 200-mile stretch.
Nearly a billion dollars has gone to widening and improving the highway from Wickenburg to the Hoover Dam over the past several years.
