PHOENIX - Two commercial trucks and two cars crashed Tuesday afternoon on Interstate 10 west of Buckeye, forcing the closure of lanes in both directions.
According to witnesses, a semi traveling eastbound rear-ended a pickup truck, then crossed into westbound traffic and struck another semi, said Arizona Department of Safety spokesman Carrick Cook.
Fire personnel and ADOT crews responded to the crash, which occurred about 12 miles west of Salome Road near milepost 69.
The crash shut down both westbound and eastbound lanes around 2:45 p.m. As of 5:20 p.m., all lanes have been reopened.
It is unclear if anyone was injured in the wreck.
