BLACK CANYON CITY, AZ - Southbound Interstate 17 near Black Canyon City will be down to one lane Monday while crews remove debris from mudslides.

The state Department of Transportation says heavy rain Sunday sent debris onto the roadway.

Drivers will be restricted to a single lane for four miles.

The speed limit also has been reduced to 45 mph with brief traffic delays.

The work is expected to be complete by 4 p.m. Monday.
