CAREFREE, AZ - A part of Carefree Highway that was closed after storms flooded the area has been cleared Wednesday afternoon.
The roadway was shut down from Interstate 17 all the way to Lake Pleasant Parkway Wednesday morning.
Air15 video showed a stream of moving water covering a half-mile stretch of the highway.
The Arizona Department of Transportation confirmed the area was cleared before 3 p.m.
