PHOENIX - Before you head out the door this weekend, know which roadways to avoid.
Here's a quick list from the Arizona Department of Transportation:
The eastbound Interstate 10 ramp to northbound Interstate 17 (at the ‘Stack’ interchange)will be closed overnight from 8 p.m. Friday to 4 a.m. Saturday (August 18) for storm drain maintenance.
Detour: Drivers can exit at 27th Avenue and use McDowell Road or exit at 7th Avenue and turn to use westbound I-10 to reach northbound I-17.
STATE ROUTE 51
It will be closed at times in both directions near Bell Road from 5 to 11 a.m. Sunday (August 19) for overhead utility relocation. Closures of less than 20 minutes expected. Be prepared to slow down in the work zone and allow extra travel time.
The northbound Interstate 17 (Black Canyon Freeway) off-ramp will be closed at Indian School Road for drain maintenance from 9 to 11 p.m. Friday (August 17). Allow extra travel time and use caution in the work zone.
