Avoid weekend Valley road closures between Sept. 7-10

The Arizona Department of Transportation is notifying weekend drivers of a few closures throughout the weekend, mainly in the area of the Loop 303 in the west Valley and Interstate 10 at Baseline Road.
The Loop 303 will be closed in both directions between Cactus Road and Peoria Avenue from 3 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday, according to ADOT.
Pavement improvements will be taking place during those hours, so drivers should consider taking Cotton Lane as a detour around the construction area.
The eastbound Interstate 10 off-ramp at Baseline Road will be closed from 5 a.m. Saturday to 2 p.m. Sunday for maintenance.
48th Street and other nearby off-ramps can be used while Baseline Road is closed.
Northern Avenue will be closed for two months beginning Monday for Loop 303 construction between Cotton Lane and Sarival Avenue.
Olive and Glendale avenues can be used as alternative routes.
