Has Tim Tebow been “blackballed” by the NFL?
That’s become a legitimate question after the former Florida quarterback hasn’t been able to find a job after being released by the New York Jets last month.
Many teams fear the media circus and cult-like fan base that seems to follow Tebow wherever he goes, according to Yahoo Sports.
One NFC head coach told Yahoo Sports that Tebow “seems like a great guy to have on a team…but it’s just not worth dealing with all the stuff that comes with it.”
Tebow is still without a job despite his success with the Denver Broncos in 2011, when he went 7-4 as a starter and won a memorable playoff game over the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Another coach simply said, “You don’t want to put up with the circus.”
Do you think an NFL team should give Tebow a chance? Or are you sick of his antics? Give us your opinion in the comment section below.
