PHOENIX - Free agent Grant Hill is saying goodbye to the Phoenix Suns and is joining Steve Nash in Los Angeles. But he’s not putting on a Lakers uniform.

After a lot of speculation, the 39-year-old forward agreed Tuesday to join the Los Angeles Clippers, according to The Los Angeles Times.

Hill became a Phoenix Sun a little more than five years ago on July 5, 2007.

The report said Hill met with Clippers Coach Vinny Del Negro over the weekend in Las Vegas, and now his 17-year career will continue in Los Angeles.

Details of his agreement have not been released.

Nash signed with the Los Angeles Lakers a week ago.
