BRADENTON, FL - Florida officials have arrested a professional tennis player for attempting to have sex with a 13-year-old girl.
Pierre-Ludovic Duclos-Lasnier of Quebec, Canada, was arrested Thursday. The 27-year-old was training in Bradenton.
An arrest report says a detective assumed the victim's identity and chatted with Duclos-Lasnier on the victim's cellphone.
The report by Manatee County officials says Duclos-Lasnier solicited the girl for sex and sent a photograph of his penis.
He offered to meet the girl and was arrested at the meeting point.
He faces charges of using a computer to solicit a child to commit sex acts; two counts of transmission of harmful material to a minor; and attempted lewd and lascivious battery.
He's being held at the Manatee County Jail without bail. It's unclear whether he has an attorney.
