SPARTA, KY - In response to former NASCAR driver Kyle Petty’s public criticism of the career of Danica Patrick, Patrick said she really doesn’t care, reported USA Today .
Petty, who appeared on the Speed Channel’s NASCAR RaceHub program said that, although Patrick has come a long way, she is “still not a race car driver. And I don’t think she’s every going to be a race car driver.”
Patrick, who Petty allegedly referred to as a “marketing machine,” won the pole for the Daytona 500 but hasn’t qualified higher than 23rd since that event.
