DUBLIN, OH - The center of attention at the opening day of The Presidents Cup wasn't who you would expect.
Assistant captain Davis Love III discovered a baby squirrel on the second hole and kept it with him for good luck the rest of the way, according to the Associated Press.
"Sammy the Squirrel," as Steve Stricker's wife Nicki named him, quickly became the team mascot and at one point, made his television debut when Lindsey Vonn placed the critter on Tiger Woods' shoulder.

It is unknown whether or not Sammy will make another appearance before The Presidents Cup 2013 ends this Sunday.
