ARLINGTON, TX - The series finale between the Texas Rangers and Minnesota Twins in Arlington was interrupted by a flash of light and booming thunder that sent players running.
Video shows just how unexpected the event was during the fourth inning.
Players and umpires alike were startled and ran off the field, while a few others dropped down and hit the deck.
The lightning and booming thunder preceded a 46-minue rain delay as crews brought out tarps to cover the field.
The Rangers went on to beat the Twins, 4-3.
