Suns announce 2012-13 schedule

The Phoenix Suns kick off their 45th NBA season October 21 against the Golden State Warriors at US Airways in Phoenix.

Fans will get their first look at the newly revamped Suns roster which includes GoranDragic, Michael Beasley, Luis Scola and top-pick Kendall Marshall.

The Suns will start their new era with two-straight home games against Golden State and then the Detroit Pistons on Friday, Nov. 2 at 7 p.m.

According to a press release, the Suns’ 41-game home slate includes marquee visits from some of the NBA’s best, including the defending champion Miami Heat (Nov. 17), the Western Conference Champion Oklahoma City Thunder (Jan. 14, Feb. 10), Chicago Bulls (Nov. 14), and the retooled Brooklyn Nets (March 24). 

West rivalries will be renewed during visits from the Los Angeles Lakers (Jan. 30, March 18), Los Angeles Clippers (Dec. 23, Jan. 24) and San Antonio Spurs (Feb. 24).
