PHOENIX - Injuries have opened the way for outfielder Alfredo Marte and infielder Josh Wilson to make the Arizona Diamondbacks' opening day roster.
The Diamondacks recalled Marte from Triple-A Reno and added Wilson to the 25-man roster on Sunday.
Arizona optioned right-hander Randall Delgado to Reno. Delgado lost out to left-hander Patrick Corbin for the fifth spot in the Arizona rotation.
The team will open the season with four players on the 15-day disabled list.
Out of action are outfielders Adam Eaton and Cody Ross and infielders Willie Bloomquist and Didi Gregorius.
The D-backs take on the St. Louis Cardinals at 7:10 p.m. Monday.
