TEMPE, AZ - The Arizona Cardinals added tight end D.C. Jefferson from Rutgers University to the roster during the seventh-round pick of the 2013 NFL Draft.
Jefferson was ranked as a top 20 quarterback nationally out of Florida, but was drafted to the Cardinals as a tight end, according to NFL.com.
At Rutgers he transitioned from a quarterback his freshmen year to tight end the following fall, according to NFL.com.
He started in 9 games during the 2011 season and caught 20 passes for 118 yards.
