PHOENIX - Former Arizona Diamondbacks player and color commentator Mark Grace has a meeting with Sheriff Joe Arpaio Wednesday night.
Grace is nearing the end of his four-month sentence in Arpaio’s Tent City after two DUI convictions in a 15-month period.
Arpaio plans to discuss ways Grace can help the sheriff’s youth assistance program, which sponsors a boxing team, oversees a drug resistance program for kids and provides scholarships to disadvantaged youth.
Grace has also agreed to talk with media about his stay in Tent City.
