If you’re a Cardinals fan, the good news is: your team is 1 and 0. The bad news is: one of the two guys battling it out at quarterback is already hurt!
The starter, John Skelton, didn’t even make it through the first game of the season.
The other big issue: the offensive line. The Cardinals managed just 43 yards rushing on 20 carries. That’s just 2.2 yards per carry and that’s not very good!
The offensive line did manage to hold the Seahawks defense to just one quarterback sack, but there were definitely some plays where both Kolb and Skelton were under some pretty heavy pressure!
Oh, and did I mention the defense just happened to give up a twenty play drive in the final five minutes of the game?
The Seahawks didn’t score, but twenty plays and eighty yards isn’t going to get it done very often! Especially against this weeks opponent, the New England Patriots!
That’s Fouhy on Sports!
