The Sun Devil men's basketball team will begin Pac-12 play Wednesday at home for the first time in five years when they take on the Utah Utes at the Wells Fargo Arena.

With a 68-52 win over Coppin State on December 29th, ASU (11-2) improved its record at home to 9-1 after going 7-10 at home last season.

After playing against just one top-25 team in non-conference play, the Sun Devils will find out just how good they are now as they head into Pac-12 play.

One player to watch as conference play commences is freshman Jahii Carson who is averaging 17.7 points and 5.7 assists per game. The last freshman to average 17 points and 5 assists in a season was Shaheen Holloway of Seton Hall in the 1996-97 season.

You can catch the game at 7 p.m. MT on the Pac-12 Networks.
