Cardinals defensive end Calais Campbell has been named the "NFC Defensive Player of the Week" for his performance in Sunday's 20-18 victory over the New England Patriots.
Campbell had two sacks, 10 tackles, two tackles for loss and three quarterback hits, making it his third career game with double digit tackles and his fourth career multi-sack game (2.5 at Seattle in September of 2011, 2 against St. Louis in November of 2011 and 1.5 against Seattle in 2009).
He also becomes the first player in Cardinals history to win the award in two different categories. He was also chosen as the "Special Teams Player of the Week" against Jacksonville in 2009.
Campbell is the 23rd Cardinal to win the award and the first since Adrian Wilson won it in week 1 of 2010.
The Cardinals defense has also allowed 20 points or fewer in nine of the last 11 games.
