The Arizona Cardinals may be having a tough time on the field, but off the field, they're thriving when it comes to their charity efforts.

Cardinals linebacker Sam Acho will join his family, teammates and celebrity guests in the "Hope for Life Celebrity Auction and Fashion Show" on Monday, November 26 at 6:00 p.m. at the Ritz Carlton in Phoenix (2401 E. Camelback Rd, Phoenix).

The event benefits a foundation started by Sam's parents, Sonny and Christie Acho. All of the money raised will go towards "Living Hope Ministries," a foundation with a goal of building a hospital in Nigeria.

Sam's parents, who were born in Nigeria, began coordinating medical missions in 1989 after traveling back to Africa and seeing people suffering and dying from a lack of over-the-counter medicine that is commonly available in the United States.

During these missions, the Acho family brings doctors, nurses, surgeons, dentists and more to give free medical care to those in need.

Some of Sam's teammates will be on hand Monday night with many of them offering specialized auction items.

Some items up for bid:

  • WR Larry Fitzgerald taking your child to school/first class
  • Shopping spree at SS Adrian Wilson’s High Point shoe store in Scottsdale
  • A baking lesson with CB Patrick Peterson
  • Movie night with RB Beanie Wells
  • A friendly game of basketball with DE Calais Campbell
