PHOENIX - Two of the top five football teams in the country faced off in the Tostitos Fiesta Bowl Monday night.
The 3rd ranked and one loss Oklahoma State Cowboys came to Glendale after winning the Big-12 conference outright for the first time since 1948. The Cowboys' lone loss came in a 37-31 double-overtime loss to Iowa State.
The 4th ranked Stanford Cardinal also came to the Fiesta Bowl with just one loss. Stanford made their first ever appearance in the Fiesta Bowl and featured Heisman Trophy candidate and potential #1 overall NFL Pick Andrew Luck.
