Kobe Bryant opened a can of worms Wednesday when he told reporters that this year's dream team would beat the original 1992 Dream Team.

Kobe said the original Dream Team had a bunch of guys that were at the end of their careers and that this year's team features a bunch of young race horses.

You can imagine what Charles Barkley had to say about that! Barkley told reporters the original Dream Team would beat this year's team by double digits.

Michael Jordan said he laughed when he heard it and added it's probably not one of the smarter things Kobe could have said.

But it does open the door for a great conversation.

Could Kobe, LeBron and Durant actually beat Jordan, Larry Bird, Barkley, Pippen and Magic? I'm not so sure.

That's Fouhy on Sports.
