No pads. No contact. During OTA’s, the Arizona Cardinals might as well have security guards in yellow jackets ushering onlookers away while telling ‘em – “nothing to see here…let’s move it along.” Right?
Uh, thing is, that’s totally inaccurate. This off-season, there’s actually quite a bit to see and a lot of it is foreign to some degree. Simply put, if you attend an Organized Team Activity (ie, light practice), your eyes and ears pick up a different scene.
And it’s not just the names and the faces that have changed. You can sense a significant difference in culture and atmosphere that has been trickling down from new head coach Bruce Arians and his staff. Not to mention plenty of X’s and O’s as well.
But don’t take our eyewitness word for it.
Listen to what some of the Cardinals players told ABC15, as they used phrases like “night and day" in the video player above.
