PHOENIX, AZ - We’ve seen it over and over, the unbelievable finish to the ASU – Wisconsin game late Saturday night.
In case you haven’t heard, the PAC12 Conference has reprimanded the game officials for, quote “They failed to properly administer the end of game situation and act with appropriate urgency on the game’s final play.”
But I’m here to tell you that the officials should have never entered the equation! I place the blame squarely on the shoulders of the Wisconsin coaching staff for failing to “properly administer the game clock.”
That had to be the worst clock management I’ve ever seen by any coaching staff and any level!
Look, I’m not taking anything away from the officials, that was bad officiating, but come on Wisconsin!
No time outs and you’re trying to run the clock down to the final second before you kick a game winning field goal?
Ridiculous clock management and poor decision making by Badgers' coach Gary Andersen!
That’s Fouhy on Sports!
