PHOENIX - Chase Field is set to welcome an international element this Spring Training season, as the World Baseball Classic comes to Phoenix.
The World Baseball Classic features players from countries around the world.
After several games during Spring Training, the best players from their perspective countries will face-off to play in the championship game in San Francisco.
World Baseball Classic Phoenix schedule:
March 7
Italy vs. Mexico 1 p.m (Salt River Fields)
March 8
Canada vs. Italy 12:30 p.m. (Salt River Fields)
Mexico vs. United States 7 p.m. (Chase Field)
March 9
Canada vs. Mexico 12:30 p.m. (Chase Field)
United States vs. Italy 7 p.m. (Chase Field)
March 10
United States vs. Canada 1 p.m. (Chase Field)
Championship round will be played March 17-19 in San Francisco
