That was the post-game chant at Mesquite Fields in Gilbert. And guess what? When you have two teams that share one nickname – there’s automatically an easy answer to that question.
In this case, the Strikers appreciate the Strikers and vice versa. That’s right, in this week’s edition of Small Stars, we have two girls softball teams that just happen to go by the same name playing in the same game. Got all that?
And for good measure, our cameras were there for the grand slam that won the game.
“Two…four…six…eight…who do we appreciate?!” Answer – Small Stars.
