SOLDIERS RETURN
About two dozen members of the 159th Finance Detachment of the Arizona Army National Guard will return from a deployment to Afghanistan. 6pm and 8:40pm, Pettycrew Armory, Phoenix.

DREAM SESSIONS
Promise Arizona is putting on a series of informational sessions to educate the community about the USCIS Deferred Action application process. 9am, 11am, 1pm, 3pm, and 5pm, Neighborhood Ministries, Phoenix.

ASU DORM MOVE-IN
Thousands of Arizona State University students will check-in to dorms Saturday at the main Tempe campus.

ASU FOOTBALL SCRIMMAGE
The Arizona State University football team hits the field for a training camp scrimmage. 10am, Camp Tontozona, near Payson.

RATTLER RALLY
The ArenaBowl Champion Arizona Rattlers will hold a fan rally, signing autographs and letting people take pictures with the Foster Trophy.6pm-8pm, US Airways Center, Phoenix.

SUNDAY 8/19

TROOP DEPLOYMENT
Members of the 1st Attack Reconnaissance Battalion, 285th Aviation Regiment of the Arizona Army National Guard will deploy to Afghanistan. 10:30am, Silverbell Army Heliport, Marana.

MAYOR AT MERCURY GAME
Phoenix Mayor Greg Stanton, sporting a broken nose from a practice session with the Phoenix Mercury, will attend the Mercury's game against San Antonio. 3pm, US Airways Center, Phoenix.
