FIESTA BOWL PARADE
Floats, giant balloons, equestrian units, automobiles, and dance troupes will march through Central Phoenix in the 42nd Annual Fort McDowell Fiesta Bowl Parade. 11a.m., Central Avenue south of Bethany Home to 7th Street & Indian School, Phoenix.

ASU IN KRAFT FIGHT HUNGER BOWL
The Arizona State Sun Devils play Navy in the Kraft Fight Hunger Bowl. 1 p.m. PST, AT&T Park, San Francisco.

BUFFALO WILD WINGS BOWL
TCU plays Michigan State in the Buffalo Wild Wings Bowl. 8:15 p.m., Sun Devil Stadium, Tempe.

SUNDAY 12/30

FIESTA BOWL BAND CHAMPIONSHIPS
Ten marching bands from across the country will compete for the Fiesta Bowl Band Championship. 10 a.m., University of Phoenix Stadium, Glendale.

CARDINALS FINAL GAME
The Arizona Cardinals play the 49ers in their final game of the regular season. 1:15 p.m. PST, Candlestick Park, San Francisco.

 

 

MONDAY 12/31

NEW YEAR'S EVE
Get ready to ring in 2013. Big block parties in the Valley will be held in Scottsdale and Tempe.

WEST VALLEY DUI TASK FORCE
Law enforcement in the West Valley will be cracking down on holiday drunk drivers. 7pm-3am command post, Cabela's, Glendale.
