CARDINALS FIRST PRESEASON GAME
The Arizona Cardinals kick off the NFL preseason against the New Orleans Saints in the league's annual Hall of Fame Game. 8pm EDT, Fawcett Stadium, Canton, OH.
MARS ROVER
NASA will land the rover Curiosity on Mars Sunday night to explore environmental conditions on the planet. An ASU alumnus will control a camera on the rover.
MONDAY 8/6
ELIZABETH JOHNSON HEARING
Attorneys will argue motions in the case against Elizabeth Johnson, charged with kidnapping and custodial interference in the case of her missing son Gabriel. Johnson's trial is scheduled to start next month. 1:30pm, Maricopa County Superior Court, Phoenix.
