PHOENIX - So you can stay ahead of the news, here's a quick look at some of the stories ABC15 will be keeping an eye on Saturday, December 1, and Sunday, December 2.

SATURDAY 12/1

APS ELECTRIC LIGHT PARADE
The APS Fiesta of Light Electric Light Parade will roll through Central Phoenix, with more than 65 entries covered in hundreds of thousands of lights. 7pm, Central Avenue & Montebello south to Camelback Road, east to 7th Street, south to Indian School Road.

SAN TAN VALLEY SHOOTING FUNERAL
Funeral services will be held for Linda Pirelli-Brown, killed in a shooting at her San Tan Valley home reportedly by a male acquaintance of her daughter. The suspect, Corey Allen, is still outstanding. 1:30pm, St. Francis Cemetery, Phoenix.

CITIZENSHIP COUNTS
Former Supreme Court Justice Sandra Day O'Connor and holocaust survivor Gerda Weissmann Klein, will speak about the importance of education and giving back to the community. 3:30pm, Armstrong Hall, Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law, Arizona State University, Tempe.    

SUNDAY 12/2  

 

BOWL SELECTION SUNDAY
Bowl officials will announce which teams will play in the Buffalo Wild Wings Bowl at Sun Devil Stadium on December 29 and in the Tostitos Fiesta Bowl at University of Phoenix Stadium on January 3. 6pm-8pm, Ziegler Fiesta Bowl Museum, Scottsdale.

CARDINALS AT JETS
The Arizona Cardinals travel east to play the New York Jets. 1pm EST, East Rutherford, NJ.
